Job Title : Account Specialist

Location: Frisco, TX (hybrid)

Position Summary

The Account Specialist role is responsible for the overall health and growth of assigned ISO and Affiliate account sales and relationships and is dedicated to all aspects of the account upon signing. By initializing and overseeing the account in a manner that simultaneously drives revenue for the company while providing exceptional customer service.

The main responsibilities of the position are to oversee the integrity of our client’s onboarding of new ATM placements, adhere to compliance standards, coordinate settlement of commissions, accurately identify and resolve issues with the customer, follow-up on open items, communicate with various internal departments, facilitate additional sales, perform account reviews, collect accounts receivable, communicate new products/solutions, and perform customer training.

This position is on a team that handles multiple requests from multiple departments; employee will learn many tasks in a very fast, ever-changing environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Process cardholder RegE Claims by retrieving online ATM journals for clients and uploading/representing those journals for Network’s review on an as-needed basis

  • Enter new account contracts and related payees correctly in databases

  • Perform background checks on personal and business entities

  • Update and accurately add appropriate relationship types in databases

  • Perform regular audits on financial and personal account data

  • Assign, create and update account payment terms daily in database; write and attach formulas/scripts in the system

  • Research and resolve any payment errors or contract discrepancies and report the problem and corrections performed

  • Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure appropriate workflows and project completions

  • Enter sales orders for equipment purchases

  • Familiarize and acclimate to account portfolios and apply that knowledge to accurately manage their portfolio

  • Assist with process/procedure improvements

  • Proactively manage existing and new sales relationships with assigned accounts by independently striving to increase revenue, profitability, and customer loyalty with a focus on selling products and services to fulfill targeted goals and driving key initiative goals set forth

  • Sell equipment and managed services to assist in customer satisfaction

  • Train customers on how to use the processor’s website, paperwork completion, and proprietary software/websites

  • Manage supporting performance reports for assigned accounts

  • Identify and resolves attrition issues related to assigned accounts

  • Assist accounts with merchants who have breached their contract

  • Identify and disseminate sales leads to Accounts

Qualifications:

  • High School/GED education level. Two-year associate degree in business recommended; Four-year degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in sales or account management

  • Must understand numbers and be proficient with mathematics, including algebraic formulas

  • Ability to pay great attention to detail, work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

  • Experience in Financial Services, Point of Sale or ATM industries preferred

  • Strong computers skills and the ability to learn varied, complex systems; experience with Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel and Word skills

  • Must be team oriented with creative team building skills

  • Must be task/deadline driven in executing responsibilities

  • Excellent excel, analytical, organizational, problem solving, presentation and writing skills are essential

  • Must be able to work in an environment requiring extensive telephone and computer work and be able to handle multiple issues simultaneously.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers from various social levels and cultural backgrounds; strong telephone communication skills and some presentation skills are necessary

  • Ability to listen and respond to customer concerns and issues to maintain the highest quality service for all customers

  • Must be able to successfully pass all applicable background screening tests

  • Schedule flexibility required; must be able to provide support over weekends/after hours and respond to issues outside of typical work hours

  • Some limited travel (5%-10% of work time) may be required

  • Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds
