We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated IT Business Ops Manager who will support the IT Financial Management organization within the Chief Operating Office and Chief Technology Office at NCR. The Manager will be responsible for providing accurate financial and analytical reports to the management team for evaluating strategic decisions. The successful candidate will collaborate with operations and finance executives using Apptio to analyze budget conditions and future opportunities to deliver desired results. The ideal candidate will have strong financial technical acumen, develop meaningful analytics that drive decisions, collaborate across geographic locations, and sustain continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities for IT BC/DR Analyst

The IT BC/DR analyst is responsible for helping to develop, manage, and track all tasks associated with IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. You will assist with data gathering and providing essential insights that drive business decisions. Responsibilities could include assisting with defining the Level 1 business processes; mapping applications and 3rd party vendors to the process; tracking recovery time objectives (RTO), recovery point objectives (RPO), and recovery time capabilities (RTC); tracking remediation plans for gaps that exits between RTO/RPO and RTC; as well as assisting the IT leadership in managing and tracking risks logged in the risk register. In this role, you will work with senior executives across technology, InfoSec, and the Chief Risk Office, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships to interface with leadership and teams at all levels within the organization

  • Assists with planning, managing, and coordinating testing activities

  • Under executive direction, create and implement Disaster Recovery standard templates

  • Assists with coordinating and monitoring the Re-test of applications that fail a DR test

  • Govern and track applications’ compliance to DR standards and their remediation, and provide governance reporting

  • Provides status reporting to the Management

  • Provides support for internal and external audits related to Disaster Recovery

  • Schedule regular meetings and record decisions (e.g. assigned tasks and next steps)

  • Break projects into doable tasks and set timeframes and goals

  • Create and update workflows, conduct risk analysis, and prepares documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT BC/DR requests, questions, and tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Management, Finance, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Technology or related field)

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular Microsoft Excel)

  • Solid organization, time-management skills, and team spirit

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to senior leaders

  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information

  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role

  • Ability to plan and manage complex projects with a strong skillset in execution

  • Great learning agility with the ability to take direction and execute

  • Self-motivated and extremely responsive with a strong sense of urgency

  • Self-starter with the energy and motivation necessary to be effective in a very demanding environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, facilitation, problem-solving and analytical skills

Work Conditions
